Don Baruzzini is the grandson of Italian immigrants whose grandfather worked in the Carrera marble mines of Italy before coming to the United States and starting his own business as a concrete tradesman and contractor.
While growing up, Don learned the skills of the concrete trade while working alongside his grandfather, father, and uncles. Taking that experience, he enlisted in the United States Navy ‘Seabees’ during the Vietnam conflict where he honed his skills building aircraft support facilities, hospitals and roads for the armed forces. After returning home he went on to take over the family construction business from his father Jerome and began building Baruzzini Contracting into the business it is today.
These principles are carried on today by Don's three sons who currently run the day to day operations of the business and are leading Baruzzini Contracting into the 21st century with modern design and construction resources, materials, and processes.
